It appears that River City Cafe may be expanding and the new location will be in Conway.

An official, who would not provide their name, with Divine Dining Group restaurants said Thursday that “something is in the works” but wouldn’t offer any comment about whether a River City Cafe restaurant would open in Conway.

However, a manager with another River City Cafe location in the Myrtle Beach area commented on a social media site that a new restaurant is planned for this summer in the building that once housed an Ultimate California Pizza at 328 Laurel St. in Conway. That restaurant closed several years ago.

Divine Dining Group owns several Ultimate California Pizza locations along the Grand Strand.

There are seven locations of River City Cafe in the Myrtle Beach area.
