‘Keep the rubber side down’: Bikers share videos of ride to Myrtle Beach area for rally
“Keep the rubber side down.”
That’s been the phrase by many motorcyclists to those posting on social media about driving in for the 2024 Myrtle Beach Spring Bike Rally.
The rally kicked off Friday, May 10, 2024, and is expected to bring thousands to the Grand Strand before it ends on May 19, 2024.
Many posted about coming from New Hampshire, New York, Virginia, Ontario, Canada and of course, closer places like North Carolina.
Some bikers posted videos about riding during the thunderstorms Thursday, but that didn’t stop them from making the trek to the Myrtle Beach area.
And of course, some got here early and posted their time partying at local bars in Murrells Inlet, where most of the bikers gather for the rally.
For some it was their first Bike Week. And for others it was a countdown from when they will make it into the area.
Those posting on Facebook showed early signs of preparations for Bike Week.
Motorcyclists also showed off their bikes that they are bringing to Bike Week.
