House fire kills two people, including an infant, outside Aynor, SC. Here’s what we know

A house fire left two people, including a 1-year-old, dead outside Aynor, said Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.

Christian Floyd, 28, and her daughter, Braylin McDowell, 1, died from smoke inhalation early Sunday morning. One person was transported to the hospital, according to Horry County Fire Rescue. The house fire was at 3604 Burroughs Road, Aynor.

The fire destroyed the house and significantly damaged a vehicle. The cause of the fire is not known yet.

Horry County Fire Rescue is investigating. Horry County Police and Loris Fire Department assisted in this call.
