Horry County Police investigating possible SC shooting involving late night crash
Horry County Police is investigating a possible shooting associated with a crash that sent a vehicle into a guard wire along Highway 31 on Monday night.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to an accident at about 10:34 p.m. between International Drive and Water Tower Road. A Facebook post said critical injuries are reported and two people were being transported to the hospital.
Lanes of traffic were blocked as police and rescue crews responded.
About an hour later, Horry County Police posted on its Facebook page that it is investigating a shooting occurred involving the crash. The post said it is believed to be an isolated incident.
