The Carlisle, located along Ocean Avenue in North Myrtle Beach, is one of the most expensive rental houses in the area on Airbnb.
With nine bedrooms and 15 beds, the multi-level house can comfortably sleep up to 28 people. There are 11 bathrooms, nine full and two half-baths, and two of the bedrooms have ocean views.
During peak season, the house can cost up to $4,593 a night with a $637 cleaning fee. During the on-season, the house is rented weekly starting on Saturday and during the off-season there is a four-night minimum stay. Staying from June 8 to June 15 will cost $37,416, before taxes. Other weeks during the summer are cheaper and range in price from around $16,000 a week to over $33,000.
Visitors can enjoy views of the Atlantic from three balconies, each one equipped with enough rocking chairs for the whole family to sit together outside. There is a walkway to the beach from the house with an outdoor shower to rinse off sand. If you don’t like swimming in the ocean, there’s also a private heated pool and a hot tub.
The house is designed to entertain a large number of guests with the kitchen having two electric stoves and ovens and two dishwashers. There’s a wet bar with an additional refrigerator and dishwasher. There are also two washers and dryers.
In terms of seating, there are 10 barstools located around the kitchen, a 10-person dining room table and two tables by the kitchenette along with ample couch space. For entertainment, there are seven smart TVs and a pool table.
