A redevelopment plan for a Murrells Inlet mall could bring massive changes to the Myrtle Beach, SC area.

The Inlet Square Mall will be turned from a 500,000-square-foot enclosed mall to a 250,000 mixed-use development, according to a plan presented by Paramount Development Corporation. Redevelopment will be finished sometime during the Spring of 2025, according to the plan.

Paramount Development could not be reached for comment before publication.

The planned redevelopment will have a future hotel, retail and other spaces. The property will also have a multi-family parcel of land about 13.5 acres, according to the plan.

The multi-family tract will potentially feature eight three-story buildings consisting of 24 units, as well as a pool, clubhouse and dog park. Planet Fitness and Belk, two of The Inlets Square Mall’s current occupants, will remain on the property as part of the project.

Paramount Development is the registered agent for Inlet Square Investments LLC, which bought the mall property in February 2023 for $6,000,000.
