New airline that offers affordable, non-stop flights coming to Myrtle Beach airport
Myrtle Beach International Airport announced that a new airline will join the airport’s list of carriers.
Breeze Airways, known for its nonstop service between under-served routes at affordable fares, will begin offering flights next year, the airport said Wednesday in a release.
Beginning in February, the airline will launch twice weekly flights to Providence, Rhode Island. Additional twice-weekly flights to Tampa, Florida, and Charleston, West Virginia, will begin on May 10.
The flights to Tampa and Charleston will be Monday and Friday and on Thursday and Sunday to Providence. Fares can start as low as $49 one way based on a current special, according to the company.
“We’re elated that Breeze Airways is set to take off from MYR, bringing new and exciting nonstop flights to high-demand markets: Tampa, Providence and Charleston,” Judi Olmstead, director of airports, said in the release. “Our team listens to customer feedback and consistently strives to acquire new air service offerings and these destinations are some of the most requested by our valued travelers. We look forward to partnering with Breeze and extend our sincere gratitude for their investment in our community.”
