Thousands of Jeeps rolling into Myrtle Beach. Videos show obstacle course, travels
Thousands of Jeeps are expected to roll into Myrtle Beach this weekend for the annual Jeep Jam.
Organizers are planning for nearly 3,000 Jeeps and more than 30,000 spectators across the three-day event, which begins Friday, according to the website.
The Jeep Jam Facebook page has posted on its social media that the obstacle course is ready.
On Thursday, participants took part in an early morning drive along the beach. City of Myrtle Beach posted the event on its social media, adding that it’s the one time a year that you will see a parade of Jeeps along the shoreline.
TikTok videos show Jeeps hitting the highway to make their way to the city.
And Jeeps are filling the parking lots as they get ready for the events set to begin Friday at 1 p.m.
Jeep owners also have been welcomed in other ways, including after parties and a commemorative mug from one ice cream business.
The event is taking place at the old mall site, 2501 N. Kings Highway. So get ready, the Jeeps are coming to the Grand Strand - ducks and all.
