Myrtle Beach Fire Department hosting car seat safety check

The Myrtle Beach Fire Department is hosting a “car seat check point” Friday to ensure child car seats are installed safely and correctly.

Firefighters at Station 6 – located at 970 38th Ave. N. – will make sure car seats are installed properly on Friday from 1 to 3 p.m. The department’s public education unit will also provide safety literature to all attendees.
