A former NFL star made a stop this week in Myrtle Beach, a place he told fans on social media brought back fond childhood vacation memories.

Former tight end for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Robert Gronkowski posted photos to Facebook on Thursday at the Mount Atlanticus Miniature Golf Course.

“Being back there this week brought back so many wonderful memories, especially on the putt-putt course, one of my all time favorite activities!!” he wrote.

On Thursday, the Myrtle Beach Golf Course and Country Club also posted photos of Gronkowski and his brother.

Gronkowski, nicknamed “Gronk,” played nine seasons for the New England Patriots and then played his final two seasons for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

He retired from the NFL in 2022.
