A well-known Myrtle Beach seafood restaurant is expanding to Market Common. What to know.
Market Common is picking up a popular Myrtle Beach-area seafood chain, adding another locally owned business to the upscale dining and shopping district.
Dirty Don’s plans to open a fourth location at 3090 Deville St. some time in August, according to a Market Common press release. The 4,851-square-foot building was formerly home to The Brass Tap pub.
Market Common general manager Heather Gray told Myrtle Beach leaders in April that the district is at 97% capacity and should be full by year’s end — including four new retail tenants.
“Restaurants have always been very popular in Market Common. This is the one area where we’ve seen growth and increased sales year-over-year,” Gray said during a city council meeting.
Gray added that Market Common looks for a diverse group of tenants to ensure variety for customers.
”Our philosophy is that if the tenants are successful we will be as well,” she said.
Gray said Market Common saw record sales last year, with 2023 already running 10% above that pace.
Dirty Don’s, which first opened in 1991, has two Myrtle Beach locations and another in North Myrtle Beach.
