Horry County Fire Rescue has record number of calls ahead of July 4. Here’s how many
Horry County Fire Rescue has set a call volume record, hitting more than 300 calls in a single shift in a 24-hour period.
Horry County Fire Rescue posted on its Facebook page Wednesday that it ran 301 calls from 8 a.m. July 3 through 8 a.m. July 4. The calls were dispatched from Horry County 911.
The post said this is the first time the agency has had more than 300 calls in a single shift.
