Bank robbed Friday morning off Highway 9 in Longs, Horry County police say
Horry County Police are investigating a reported bank robbery that happened Friday morning at a bank off of Highway 9 East in Longs.
Anderson Brothers Bank, 71 Cloverleaf Drive in Longs, was apparently robbed about 9:30 a.m., shortly after it opened.
A note on the bank’s website said it was temporarily closed and directed customers to sister banks in North Myrtle Beach and Myrtle Beach.

No one was harmed in the robbery, a police Facebook post said.
Police are searching for the suspect in the robbery. Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call the tipline at 843-915-8477.
