SC Coastal baseball ranked 8th in the US. Here’s when and how to watch before NCAA tournament
With six games left in the 2023 season, Coastal Carolina is the eighth ranked team in the country, according to NCAA and Baseball America.
The Chants’ 2023 season will close off with the Sun Belt Championship in Mobile, A.L., and then a 64-team NCAA baseball tournament, which ends in the Men’s College World Series in Omaha, NE.
Baseball America projects CCU’s Springs Brooks Stadium to be one of the 16 universities in the nation selected to host games in the NCAA baseball tournament.
Coastal won the Men’s College World Series in 2016.

You have a just a few chances left to see Coastal at home for the 2023 season. Here is the rest of their regular season schedule.
- May 12, 13, 14, on the road playing South Alabama in Mobile, A.L.
- May 16, at home against North Carolina. 6 p.m.
- May 18, at home against Marshall. 6 p.m.
- May 19, at home against Marshall. 6 p.m.
- May 20, at home against Marshall. 1 p.m.

Postseason prospects
CCU will play in the Sun Belt Conference tournament, which runs from May 23 to 28.
The NCAA baseball tournament selection will take place on May 29 at noon on ESPN2, with teams playing the first round from June 2 to 5.
