Horry County Police officer injured in two-vehicle crash involving motorcycle
An Horry County Police officer was involved in an accident involving a motorcycle Wednesday evening, according to officials.
Police said the officer was transported to an area hospital with multiple non-life threatening injuries following a crash on Highway 31 near International Drive, according to a post on the department’s Twitter account.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the two-vehicle accident at about 3:30 p.m.
The accident blocked northbound lanes of traffic. South Carolina Department of Public Safety in investigating, according to the post.
No other details about the accident were released.
