Conway police were looking for missing 20-year-old. Then she was found in Myrtle Beach jail
Conway police were searching for a 20-year-old woman Thursday night, taking to social media to ask for help.
Then she was found safe — in jail.
Celina Vargas was arrested in Myrtle Beach on a trespassing charge.
Vargas was charged with trespassing Friday morning by Myrtle Beach Police, court records show. She was released on a $495 bond.
On Thursday, Conway police stated they were looking for Vargas near the Ascent Apartments in Conway. They later updated the post that night, stating that she was “found safe.”
It’s unclear what led to her arrest.
A court date is set for May 30.
