A Chubbies men store has opened at Tanger Outlets. ‘Perfect addition to Myrtle Beach’

A men’s beachwear clothing store has opened a new location at the Tanger Outlets off Highway 17 near North Myrtle Beach.

Chubbies, a men’s clothing brand, opened on March 15, according to a press statement Monday.

Chubbies sells men’s shorts and swim trunks at five other locations around the South, including one in Charleston. The company started in 2011 as an online business.

Located next to Tanger Outlets’ Adidas store, the now-open Chubbies has a 2800-square-foot storefront.

“The brand’s colorful patterns paired with its commitment to creating comfortable, casual apparel makes it the perfect addition to the Myrtle Beach community,” said Tanger Outlets Myrtle Beach Hwy 17 Marketing Director Stephanie Parisi in a press release.
