NC man dies in two-vehicle car crash in Horry County, SC coroner says
A North Carolina man died Friday in Horry County after a two-vehicle crash.
Justin Crakow, 33, was taken to a local hospital, where he died at 8:38 a.m. Friday, according to Horry County Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.
Three people also were injured.
A driver in a Nissan was traveling north on Highway 501, and Crakow was driving a Honda Accentheaded west on Highway 22, S.C. Highway Patrol Lena Butler said. Crakow failed to yield and collided with the Nissan at 7:20 a.m., Butler said.
Crakow was sole occupant in the vehicle.
The driver and two passengers in the Nissan were taken to the hospital.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating.
