One driver killed after crashing into building, several cars off Highway 9 near Loris SC
One person died Wednesday in a single-vehicle collision that happened on South Carolina 9, east of Loris, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The collision happened at 6:37 a.m., Lance Cpl. Lena Butler said.
The driver was driving a 2008 Chevrolet HHR when they ran off the right side of the road, struck a building and several other vehicles. The driver died on the scene.
The Horry County Coroner’s Office has not released the victim’s identity yet.
