Popular downtown Myrtle Beach bar catches fire for second day in a row
Crews returned to a downtown Myrtle Beach bar Wednesday morning after another fire broke out.
Officials encouraged people to avoid the area where Nola’z is located on 9th Avenue North, according to a Myrtle Beach Fire Department’s Facebook post.
The popular summer spot just a block from Ocean Boulevard also caught fire early Monday morning. No one had been injured, officials said Monday.
Crews had responded to the scene at 5:45 a.m. and found smoke and fire.
The fires come as spring break nears, and tourists began frequenting the area ahead of the summer season.
It is not yet clear what caused the two fires.
