A new family entertainment center is opening at Coastal Grand Mall in Myrtle Beach this week.

Stars and Strikes Getaway-n-Play will feature 24 bowling lanes, bumper cars, laser tag and arcade games, according to a news release.

The Georgia-based company will have its grand opening on Feb. 18. The event will be from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Saturday’s offers:

  • BOGO free game cards for the arcade
  • BOGO free games of laser tag
  • $2 games of bowling
  • Prize giveaways

The $10 million facility has a signature S&S Lounge that fits over 100 guests for corporate events. It features a private bar and VIP bowling lanes, according to the release.

Birthday party packages will also be available “to accommodate budgets of any size,” the release states.

The food menu includes different appetizers, salads, sandwiches, and specialty pizzas.

There will also be virtual reality, axe throwing and a bar with big screen TVs for sports games.

Stars and Strikes participates in a national program, Kids Bowl Free, which will allow children to bowl two games for free Monday through Saturday at the center. It runs from April 24 through Aug. 18. To register a child, go online.

There are 15 locations across Georgia, Alabama, North Carolina and Tennessee, according to the release. This is the third location in South Carolina.
