One person killed in a Little River area car crash
A pedestrian has died after being hit by a vehicle near Little River, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver of the Dodge Journey was not injured, Corporal David Jones said.
The pedestrian had been walking on Nelson Road when the driver, who was traveling south, hit the person.
The crash happened about 1 a.m. Friday night.
The name of the deceased will be released by the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
