Smoothie aficionados have a new option in the mix. Smoothie King opened a second Myrtle Beach-area location on Sunday near the Publix off Highway 17 Bypass.

Customers at the Coventry Marketplace location can order in the store, drive thru or on the app.

Smoothie King’s menu features over 80 smoothies, including vegan, high-protein and keto options. Also 10 ‘enhancers,’ including Multivitamin and Muscle Builder, add additional nutrients.

District Manager Tiffany Jackson estimates that half of customers order a smoothie as a meal and the other half as a snack.

The location near Socastee and Market Common is the second in the area, after a Pawleys Island shop. Jackson said they’re planning on opening another drive-thru in the Carolina Forest area at the end of 2023.
