Horry County firefighters quickly extinguish overnight kitchen fire

Horry County firefighters responded to an overnight kitchen fire at a home off S.C. 90, according to Facebook posting by department officials.

Rescue workers were at the double-wide mobile home on the 3200 block of Bomb Range Road at 1:25 a.m. Tuesday and said a kitchen fire was quickly extinguished.

Firefighters were on the scene for a while after putting out the blaze for extended overhaul, according to the post.
