Coroner identifies Little River man killed in motorcycle crash on Highway 90

The Horry County Coroner’s Office has identified a Little River man killed in a motorcycle-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday evening in Wampee.

At about 5:40 p.m., a collision occurred between a motorcyclist and a vehicle on Highway 90 near Strawberry road, according to Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard.

The motorcyclist was taken to the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center where he died of multiple traumatic injuries at 6:21 p.m.

The coroner identified the motorcyclist as Franceso Lobuono, 52, of Little River.

The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
