A 58-year-old man has died after he ran into the back of a school bus Friday in Georgetown County. The coroner has not released his name.

A homeless man was killed after he was hit by a car Wednesday, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.

The driver of a 2002 Toyota Camry struck 61-year-old Michael Zavatsky while they both were traveling south on the U.S. 701 near Hair Nook Road, said South Carolina Highway Patrol Corporal Tyler Tidwell.

The crash happened north of Conway around 7:23 p.m.

The SC Highway Patrol is investigating.
