Here are the 2022 Christmas garbage schedules for Myrtle Beach and 8 surrounding area towns

Unsure when your trash will be collected this holiday season?

With Christmas Day and New Year’s Day falling on Sunday in 2022, your trash pickup may or may not be affected. Your holiday garbage schedule depends on the city or town where you live. Read on to see if you’ll need to take your trash to the curb on a different day.

Atlantic Beach: No changes to trash pickup schedules for Christmas or New Year’s.

Aynor: No changes to trash pickup schedules for Christmas or New Year’s.

Briarcliffe Acres: No changes to trash pickup schedules for Christmas or New Year’s.

Conway: For Christmas, Friday trash will be collected on Thursday, Dec. 22. There are no changes to the garbage pickup schedule for New Year’s.

Little River: No changes to trash pickup schedules for Christmas or New Year’s.

Loris: No changes to trash pickup schedules for Christmas or New Year’s.

Myrtle Beach: There are changes to the garbage pick up schedule for both Christmas and New Year’s. Trash won’t be picked up on Mondays Dec. 26 and Jan. 2.

If your trash day is usually Monday, your garbage will be collected on a Tuesday: Dec. 27 and Jan. 3. If your trash day is usually Tuesday, it will be picked up on Wednesday: Dec. 28 and Jan. 4.

Residents with pickup on Wednesday won’t experience any changes.

North Myrtle Beach: For Christmas, Friday trash will be collected on Monday, Dec. 26. There are no changes to the garbage pickup schedule for New Year’s.

Surfside Beach: No changes to trash pickup schedules for Christmas or New Year’s.

Unincorporated areas of Horry County: Check with your private trash pickup company for any changes. The Horry County Solid Waste Authority dump will be closed on Dec. 24 and 25 and Jan. 1.
