One person has died after a three-vehicle crash in Horry County, SC. Here’s what we know.

A driver involved in a three vehicle crash died in Horry County Tuesday, according to highway patrol.

A pickup truck, which was traveling north on the S.C. 19, had stopped when it collided with a Hyundai sedan traveling in the same direction, said South Carolina Highway Patrol Corporal Nick Pye.

That’s when a Ford sedan, which was traveling south, ran into the Hyundai, he added.

The truck driver, who was pulling a horse trailer, was not injured. But the driver of the Hyundai died, and the occupant in the Ford was taken to the hospital, according to Pye’s report.

The name of the person who died has not been released yet.

The wreck happened around 5:55 p.m. on near Mincey Drive. It is under investigation.
