A country singer with a growing online following will perform at the Tin Roof in Myrtle Beach in November.

Taylor Edwards, who released her debut album “Born in July” on Sept. 30, will perform at the Tin Roof on November 12. Edwards is currently on tour with Sophia Scott and Dylan Brady, who will perform at the Tin Roof as well.

The 12-stop tour has taken Edwards to different Tin Roof venues across the U.S. such as Memphis, TN and Raleigh, NC, in November. The Myrtle Beach stop is the final stop on Edward’s first major tour.

Edwards said that some of her songs have resonated with audiences on TikTok, most popular being “Call Your Sister,” which got more than 130,000 people using her audio.

“It’s been really cool to see people singing some of the words to songs that have had little moments on TikTok,” Edwards said. “It’s been really, really cool so far.”

“Born in July” first started with an EP that came out in 2021, which was a tribute to Edward’s life and family.

“Starting with a millennial’s struggle with mental health, to missing her hometown and her little sister, to the hopeful upside of being single in your twenties, Taylor invites you into her relatable world,” her website says.

Edwards decided to create a full-length album for people to really get to know her as a person.

“it’s just a continuation of my story,” Edwards said.

Edwards and Brady will perform at 8 p.m. The event is free for all ages.
