Christian singer’s concert in Myrtle Beach canceled due to safety concerns
A concert has been canceled in Myrtle Beach because the outdoor stage was deemed unsafe.
Michael W. Smith was set to perform at 7:30 p.m. at Ground Zero at the beach, according to a Facebook post.
“Certificates of engineering could not be produced by the host venue therefore to maintain the safety of artists, crew, fans and attendees, regrettably the show must be canceled,” according to the post.
Those with tickets will be refunded through their original method of payment. It could take up to 30 days.
