Ohio man died after falling from his hotel balcony in Myrtle Beach, coroner says
An Ohio man died after he fell from his hotel balcony Friday, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
Markell Hope, 34, was trying to do a handstand when he fell, Chief Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said. He died at at the scene around 2:30 p.m.
Hope was staying at the Patricia Grand Hotel on the fifteenth floor, she added.
The Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating.
