63-year-old woman pronounced dead after being found unresponsive in Surfside Beach pool
A woman that was found unresponsive in a pool in Surfside Beach yesterday has been pronounced dead.
63-year-old Diane Felts of Mount Airy, North Carolina died at about 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday at Grand Strand Medical Hospital, according to Darris Fowler, an Horry County coroner.
The drowning occurred at 6001 South Kings Highway, which is the Ocean Lakes Family Campground.
