Human remains discovered in rural Georgetown County area
Human remains have been found in the woods near Kent Road, which is off Highway 521 near a mobile home park, in Georgetown County, SC.
“Deputies on scene report the remains appear to have been at the location for an extended period of time,” according to Jason Lesley, a public information officer for the area.
Authorities say that there is no threat to people in the area at this time.
