A Myrtle Beach gas station sells winning lottery ticket worth hundred of thousands
A Grand Strand man won a $300,000 lottery ticket Friday and plans to share the winnings with his daughter, according to a press release.
“She doesn’t know what I’m giving her yet,” the winner, who wished to remain anonymous, told lottery officials in a press release.
He also told officials that his daughter was the first person he told, texting her a picture of the winning scratch-off ticket from a gas station on 10th Avenue N. in Myrtle Beach. According to the press release, he also plans to buy a car with the winnings.
The player beat a 1 in 900,000 odds to win the last top prize of in the Carolina Gold 100X game.
A Circle K gas station in Myrtle Beach received a commission of $3,000 for selling the claimed ticket, according to a press release.
