2018 - Laura Moberley is hired by Horry County Schools as a Reading Loss Interventionist at Carolina Forest Elementary School.
June 13, 2022 - Custody battle between William and Laura Moberley over their two children, Eric and Emily, begins, according to public court records.
Aug. 30, 2022 - Last legal action taken, filed by Laura Moberley. According to online public court records, Laura filed a financial declaration.
Aug. 31, 2022, about 1:45 p.m. - Horry County police force entry at home on Centennial Circle and find Laura, 42, Eric, 11, Emily 8, deceased from gun shot wounds.
Sept. 1 - Horry County Police Department alerts public about the three deaths, only giving condolences to the children.
Sept. 1 - Horry County Schools releases information detailing that Laura worked at Carolina Forest Elementary School, Emily was in 3rd grade at Carolina Forest Elementary School and Eric was in 7th grade at Ten Oaks Middle School.
Sept. 1 - HCPD provides incident report that lists Laura as a suspect.
Sept. 7 - Coroner confirms that Laura Moberley committed suicide and that Eric and Emily were murdered.
Sept. 8 - Funeral held for the three at Carolina Forest Community Church.
