Coroner identifies man killed in Horry County crash
A man has died after his car overturned in Longs Wednesday, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
Nathan Flowers, 42, of Longs, was the driver in the single vehicle crashed Wednesday morning, Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden said Friday.
Flowers was driving east on Secondary Road 808 at 7:20 a.m. near Collins Road when he crossed the center line, ran off the road, hit a ditch and then a utility pole, according to South Carolina Highway Patrol Trooper Brian Lee.
Horry County Fire Rescue reported that lines were down as a result of the wreck.
Highway Patrol is investigating.
