Update: Missing Georgetown County teenager found safe
14-year-old Matthew Gauge Ard who was reported missing today from his home on Hagley Drive in Pawley’s Island has been found safe, according to Jason Lesley of the Georgetown County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office was asking for the public’s help in safely locating the teenager.
Ard is described as 5 foot, 9 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He is a student at Waccamaw High School, the sheriff’s office said.
“Family members are unsure where he may have gone after contacting friends and family. His phone has been turned off,” according to a release.
