Coroner identifies NC man who drowned in Myrtle Beach
A North Carolina man has died after swimming at the ocean in Myrtle Beach, a coroner said.
Roosevelt Robinson, 33, was recovered from the beach near 22nd Avenue South late Sunday morning, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.
She said Robinson died at a local hospital.
The Raeford man’s death was ruled an accident, McSpadden added.
Myrtle Beach Police Department is investigating.
