A North Carolina man has died after swimming at the ocean in Myrtle Beach, a coroner said.

Roosevelt Robinson, 33, was recovered from the beach near 22nd Avenue South late Sunday morning, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden.

She said Robinson died at a local hospital.

The Raeford man’s death was ruled an accident, McSpadden added.
