Missing 4-month-old last seen in Loris has been found, police say

Four-month-old Mason Bryant who was last seen with his biological father who is not his legal guardian, 23-year-old Akeem Bryant, has been found safe and has been reunited with his guardian, according to Mikayla Moskov, public information officer for Horry County.

Police say that they are still looking for Akeem Bryant.

“Due to the location of the initial abduction, we believe the suspect could be in the SC/NC border region,” Moskov wrote in an email to the media Thursday night.

“The two were last seen when Akeem abducted Mason from a location on Bill Grissett Road in the Loris section of Horry County,” according to Horry County Police Department.

Police said Akeem may be driving a 2012 black Cadillac SUV with a Nevada license plate reading US N159.

Akeem is about 5’11” and 215 pounds with black hair, according to a release.

Moskov said that if anyone sees the infant’s biological father, to call 9-1-1.
