Police dispatched to South Conway Elementary School
A suspicious person was seen outside of Conway Elementary School and authorities were called, according to June Wood, public information officer for the city of Conway
“Officers with Conway Police Department were dispatched at approximately 9:45 a.m. to South Conway Elementary for reports of a suspicious person. Officers located the individual and determined there was no threat. Officers will be clearing the scene,” Wood said.
Whether the individual was taken into custody or not is unknown.
There was a threat made last night towards Myrtle Beach Middle School and authorities are investigating, according to a Facebook post from Myrtle Beach Police Department.
