Watch the sights and sounds as Bikefest returns to Atlantic Beach

The Atlantic Beach Black Pearl Cultural Heritage and Bike Festival returned to the Grand Strand Friday to the kick-off to the three day event that occurs over the busy Memorial Day weekend.

The festival, also known as ‘Black Bike Week’ was canceled in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19.

The event got off to a soggy start on Friday afternoon and motorcycle clubs packed into resort parking garages in North Myrtle Beach during the rain storms where D.J.s spun records and bikers danced and socialized.

But as the skies cleared at dusk, groups of motorcyclists began roaring into Atlantic Beach and other popular party destinations along the Grand Strand.
