Myrtle Beach-area motorcyclist dead from injuries sustained on George Bishop Parkway
A single-vehicle accident that occurred around 12:30 a.m. Friday on George Bishop Parkway not far from Highway 501 left a Myrtle Beach-area man dead, said Darris G. Fowler, deputy coroner for Horry County Government.
Filipe Santos Abreu, 31, died at the Grand Strand Medical Center from injuries he sustained in the early morning motorcycle crash.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is leading the investigation.
