Conway resident dies in single-vehicle accident on Highway 501
A traffic incident on Highway 501 involving only one vehicle left a Conway resident dead on Friday morning, said Patty H. Bellamy, deputy coroner for Horry County Government.
SanJuan Martinez, 31, from Mexico, but a resident of Conway, died on scene where D Street crosses Highway 501 not far from Conway.
The exact nature of Martinez’s injuries that resulted in his death have yet to be released.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol is the leading agency in this investigation.
