Have a mighty blast in Myrtle Beach this weekend with these fun activities
The weather is looking good for some outdoor weekend activities until rain showers become possible on Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Here are three family-friendly activities and one adult activity to take advantage of from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, before you find yourself dozing off for a Sunday nap while listening to the rain:
Turtles’ Time Out At Huntington Beach State Park
When: Friday, April 29 from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Huntington Beach State Park, 16148 Ocean Hwy, Murrells Inlet
“Join us for this informal chance to meet our naturalists and some of our live education animals as they get some sun and exercise,” reads southcarolinastateparks.com. “Bring your nature questions and ID requests!”
Free Children’s Program At The L.W. Paul Living History Farm
When: Saturday, April 30 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: L.W. Paul Living History Farm, 2279 Harris Short Cut Road, Conway
“Join us for free 30 minute Saturday activities at the Farm! Parents can sign children up for a half hour session between 9 AM-11 AM. Group sizes will be limited to help ensure social distancing,” reads horrycountymuseum.org. “[K]ids will learn how to make homemade ink using berries, and have the chance to write or draw with a feather quill. Feeding Time At Myrtle Beach State Park
When: Saturday, April 30 from 2 p.m. to 2:20 p.m.
Where: Myrtle Beach State Park, 4401 South Kings Hwy, Myrtle Beach
This event is family friendly. Visitors can “[w]atch a snake eat a mouse and see what other hungry animals are lurking in our nature center house” read southcarolinaparks.com.
Yoga In The Yard
When: Sunday, May 1 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Where: Crooked Hammock Brewery, 4924 Hwy 17 South, North Myrtle Beach
