Coroner identifies 87-year-old man who died in Conway house fire
An 87-year-old Conway man died from injuries sustained Monday during a house fire, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office.
George Argeroplos died at his home on Dunbarton Lane from asphyxiation due to smoke inhalation, Deputy Coroner Tamara Willard said.
Horry County Fire Rescue responded to the fire around 9 a.m.
Two other people were injured and treated on scene. Their injuries also pertained to smoke inhalation.
Horry County Police Department is assisting in the investigation.
