Lucky Myrtle Beach lottery player adds a dollar, triples the prize money to $150K

A South Carolina lottery player at a Myrtle Beach Food Lion tripled the winnings this weekend.

A Powerball ticket worth $150,000 was purchased from the Food Lion on Kings Highway, according to a press release from the South Carolina Education Lottery.

The ticket was for the Saturday, March 26, drawing.

The winner increased the worth of the ticket from $50,000 to $150,000 by adding PowerPlay for an additional dollar.

The winning numbers were: 2-10–50–59–61. The Powerball was 6.

The estimated jackpot for the Monday, March 28, drawing is $195 million.
