Details released in car wreck that killed a pedestrian over the weekend

A Myrtle Beach man died after being hit by a vehicle on Saturday, officials said.
Donald Calderone, 40, died at the scene of the morning crash near 3900 South Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Patty Bellamy.
Brian Lee, a trooper with the South Carolina Highway Patrol, said a Ford truck driver hit Calderone on U.S. 17 around 2 a.m.
It is not clear if the driver was injured.
The agency is investigating with assistance from the Multi-Disciplinary Accident Investigation Team.
