‘Strawberry Wine’ singer, others will head to Myrtle Beach for Carolina Country Music Fest
The Carolina Country Music Fest has announced three more artists heading to Myrtle Beach to perform this summer.
Deana Carter, The Davisson Brothers Band, and Cooper Alan are part of the growing 2022 lineup, according to the country music festival’s website.
Carter is best known for her hit 1996 single “Strawberry Wine.” The song won Carter the Country Music Association Song of the Year Award in 1997 in addition to a Grammy nomination.
She is familiar with the CCMF stage, having performed at the festival in 2018.
The Davisson Brothers Band, based in Clarksburg, WVa., are known for their blend of country, southern rock, and bluegrass music.
Alan is an emerging country artist from Winston-Salem, N.C. who spent his high school and college years playing in bars across the Carolinas, according to the festival’s website. His hit singles include “New Normal” and “Tough Ones.”
The new artists will join CCMF headliners Keith Urban, Jason Aldean, and Luke Bryan in downtown Myrtle Beach this summer.
Carolina Country Music Fest returned last year after a coronavirus-induced absence in 2020, featuring country acts Luke Combs, Darius Rucker, Jake Owen and Eric Church, among others.
This year’s festival runs from June 9-12 in downtown Myrtle Beach.
