Myrtle Beach man fatally struck by tractor-trailer on U.S. 501 in Horry County
A 37-year-old Myrtle Beach man was killed early Thursday after being hit by a tractor-trailer on U.S. Highway 501 in Myrtle Beach.
The crash occurred about 2:30 a.m. in Horry County with both the pedestrian and vehicle traveling southbound, according to Master Trooper David Jones, of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
Ricky Dale Wallace Jr. was the name of the pedestrian, according to the Horry County Coroner’s Office
Horry County Fire Rescue reported the crash near Waccamaw Boulevard.
SCHP is investigating.
