An Horry County family was displaced after a fire destroyed their home, officials said.

The American Red Cross in South Carolina will be assisting a two-person family whose house on Sweet Bay Road in Longs was damaged on Friday, according to the agency’s press release.

The Red Cross will help the family obtain food, clothing and a place to stay.

No injuries were reported, according to the Horry County Fire Rescue’s Friday Facebook post.

The department is investigating the fire.
